* MARCH 13-15: Desert Storm Rally, Blythe CA

- This was the first event Steve and I had ever attended.  We were setting mid pack times on day one, but took a wrong turn on a stage and ended up getting stuck and a 30+ minute stage time.  On day two, we were doing great, and ended up 13 seconds off of first place in G2… unfortunately, due to some errors at the FTC, we ended up with 3+ minutes of road points, dropping us down in the standings considerably.

DAY ONE:  CRS-2, 3rd place.  G2, 4h place.  17th overall.
DAY TWO:  CRS-2, 6th place.  G2, 7th place.  12th overall.

* APRIL 17: High Desert Trails, Ridgecrest CA

- Our second rally.  Running on 7 year old bald tires with no spares.  Our first win!

RESULTS: CRS-2, 1st place.  4th overall.

* MAY 7-9: Plan B, Indio CA

- Our first night stages!  We were KILLING it, but had a fuel pump failure which cost us the race… we still managed to finish.

RESULTS: CRS-2, 4th place.  G2, 6th place.  11th overall.

* MAY 14-16: Oregon Trail Rally, Dufur & The Dalles OR

- Lots of firsts for the tm/FM team… first national event, first time driving through forest, and first time swinging the car around corners with sheer cliff exposures.  We were surprised to find out that we are actually competitive at a national event, and we did pretty damn good for our fourth rally.

RESULTS: MaxAttack!, 4th place.  Novice driver/co-driver overall, 1st place.  MaxAttack! Recovery Award, 26th to 4th place.
DAY TWO: G2 Regionals, 3rd place.
DAY THREE: G2 Regionals, 1st place.
OVERALL: G2 Regionals, 2nd place.
